 Touchstone Farm was established in July 2007 as a modern boutique thoroughbred stud to cater for the upper end of the broodmare market.Our aim was to offer a choice of very good Australian and shuttle stallions so that local breeders and owners can pursue black type and international campaigns for their horses and compete with the stars of the world.

It is significant that our foundation sire ,Flying Pegasus has started off in such grand style.It was with great excitement that we watched Absolute Cracker wearing the Touchstone colours win the first two year old race of the season.Western Fever then further highlighted the quality of the Flying Pegasus progeny winning the Magic Millions two year old Classic.When King Saul won on debut, the highest priced Flying Pegasus yearling to date could not have been more impressive.

Vital Equine has certainly set the world on fire with his first Northern Hemisphere crop.From a limited book he has 5 individual winners and five place getters to date and by all accounts some other exciting youngsters in the wings.His own performances as a two year old were world class and the signs are that he will make a significant impact as his juveniles hit the track in Australia later this year.

The newest addition to our roster in 2011 is Planet Five.

Respected journalist Tony Arrold of The Australian stated “Planet Five Brings Multi Million Dollar Class”.

Planet Five was a truly impressive sprinter and brings with him some of the best bloodlines in the world.

One cannot help but be impressed and he certainly warrants your consideration in 2011.

Our aim is to stand stallions that we hope will fulfill our ambitions of helping local breeders produce horses that are both commercially viable and capable of competing at the top level both nationally and internationally.We believe that our roster for 2011 will help us achieve this aim.
